What to share.
Say “roof exit” or “not sure,” then describe the laundry floor, whether the dryer is stacked and the working space around it. Share only what you already know. Photos are optional and should only be taken from a safe, readily accessible location.
A roof termination does not mean every cleaning task requires someone to stand on the roof. It also does not establish that a complete cleaning can be done from indoors. The provider must explain the method, accessible sections and remaining limitations for the actual route.

- Are connection repairs, hood replacement or roof alterations excluded or quoted separately?

Removing lint from an accessible exhaust route differs from replacing a termination, altering roof materials or rebuilding concealed ductwork. Ask which task is proposed and who accepts responsibility for it.
Wet, icy or snowy conditions can affect access decisions. The person doing the work must assess the conditions. A webpage or a description of the roof cannot establish safe access.
